International money transfer service WebMoney has confirmed that they have added digital currencies, Dash and Ripple onto their platform. Established in Moscow in 1998, WebMoney Transfer revealed the latest news on 1st February via a press release.
\r\nBoth in the top 12 cryptocurrencies, Ripple and Dash can be exchanged and traded via multiple exchanges. Similar to Bitcoin, Dash is a digital currency that is sometimes described as an altcoin. Altcoin describes anything but Bitcoin. First launched as Xcoin, Dash was later rebranded as Darkcoin in 2014 and then again to Dash in March 2015. Insiders have confirmed that the name Dash is simply an abbreviation for digital cash. Since its creation, Dash has experienced huge growth, and interest in the cryptocurrency seems to be increasing.
\r\nAs well as a cryptocurrency, Ripple is a transaction network. Released in 2012, Ripple\'s foundation can actually be tracked back to 2004 when creator Ryan Fugger came up with the idea.
\r\nCreated with the aim of being used by banks and for international money transfers, Ripple\'s developers said it was the fastest digital currency for global payments. The team behind it also believe that low transaction fees and speed are the main benefits of Ripple.
