Following the news that Stellar will be added to eToro, the global trading platform has announced that it has now added NEO as well. This brings the number of cryptocurrencies listed on the service to nine, as NEO joins Bitcoin, Litecoin Ethereum, Ripple, Bitcoin Cash, Dash, Ethereum Classic and Stellar on the platform.With over 9 million users, eToro is one of the most popular digital trading platforms which lists crypto.
\r\nThe NEO coin, which was launched in 2014, is linked to the NEO smart economy which uses Blockchain technology to manage smart contracts and digital assets. There has been increased interest in alt-coins from investors who wish to diversify their portfolios.
\r\nTrading sites such as eToro are also popular with people who wish to get involved in the cryptocurrency boom, without opening a wallet or signing up with a coin exchange. eToro investors purchase real assets when they use the platform to invest in cryptocurrencies. However, eToro acts as the custodian of the asset until the user sells it. NEO will also be listed on the platform\'s Crypto CopyFund, which allows users to buy and sell CFDs, financial instruments which mirror the performance of the cryptocurrency to which they are linked.
