The UK based cryptocurrency trading platform, Tradesatoshi, has added SmileyCoin to its list of currencies. It is another plus for an ever-growing reputation for the digital currency, as it looks to expand its number of users.
\r\nSmileyCoin was designed with the tutor web system in mind, rewarding students for achieving targets in web-based learning. The platform has been tested within European and African schools and focuses on the teaching of mathematics and other tricky topics.
\r\nStudents are rewarded with a smiley token for every completed course, with the number of tokens staggered depending on the amount of work completed. So for a single lesson a student will be given 1 token, for a module it could be 10, 100, or even 1000 tokens. The tokens have to be stored within a SMLY wallet.
\r\nThe idea behind the cryptocurrency is that it could be put into practice throughout all schools and higher educational establishments, being used to pay for canteen meals, and even books and other educational materials.
\r\nSince the SmileyCoin was launched onto the crypto markets in January 2015, the price of the token has continued to increase, and with its addition to the Tradesatoshi listings it will likely increase even further.
