CryptoWolf EU exchange has announced that it will now list DigiByte. DigiByte is currently ranked at number 47 on Coinmarketcap\'s ranking of the top 100 crypto\'s and has a market cap of approximately $600 million.
\r\nDigiByte was created in 2013 by Jared Tate as a remedy to the frustrations created by Bitcoin, most notably its slow processing times and questionable security. The coin has presented itself as a longer, faster and more secure UTXO blockchain, in comparison to its peers.
\r\nDigiByte has currently been on the market for four years, making it one of the oldest coins presently available. However, the coin\'s popularity has only recently peaked, with its market value surging and increasing 1,000% in under a month. A single coin costs approximately $0.06. The latest surge in the coin\'s popularity follows years of low rankings in comparison to more established coins that have been around for a similar length of time, such as Bitcoin.
\r\nIn 2016, Microsoft nominated DigiByte for their project that lends support to software startups, BizSpark, and added the coin to Azure. Despite the interest of the tech giant, the coin has still failed to rival the bigger names in crypto. However, following recent price corrections which has seen the value of leading cryptocurrencies fall sharply, DigiByte\'s day may soon arrive.
