The development team at Particl are inviting their Swiss supporters and other interested parties to a meet-up this weekend at Kafi Schoffel, a bitcoin-enabled lounge/restaurant in Zurich. It will be a friendly meeting for sharing ideas and progress of the Particl project, which is currently on track for its full main-net release in the first quarter of 2018. The GUI (Graphical User Interface) is already complete and a test-net version online, with a functional marketplace.
Particl is a blockchain initiative offering full privacy and security, using PoS (Proof of Stake) protocols. It was the first distributed app to be built on the Bitcoin blockchain, with fully confidential transactions. Its native currency, PART, can be used for transactions in the marketplace and traded on exchanges such as Bittrex and LiteBit.eu. PART users stake their coins and run Particl to help develop the network, which earns them more PART.
Particl also supplies a framework for other Dapps, private messaging and a form of self-governance with which it intends to disrupt the more traditional ecommerce giants such as eBay and Amazon. Particl is a Swiss-based team with a strong community input, which is also partnered with BTC Media and Bitcoin Suisse AG.
The meeting takes place from 7-10pm (GMT +1) on February 24th.
