The alternative lifestyle conference titled "Anacharpulco" kicks off today in Acapulco, Mexico, with a four-day feast of events including Sunday's "Cryptopulco." A host of crypto enthusiasts and bitcoin evangelists, including Amaury Séchet, Roger Ver and Joby Weeks, will speak on the final day of the event about blockchain issues, banking, fraud and the general anarchic decentralisation of the world's finance. This will no doubt be followed by the traditional banking system taking a forty metre dive off of Acapulco's famous La Quebrada cliff.
Many cryptocurrency and blockchain companies will be setting up booths, especially those with a LatAm chapter like ZenCash, whose social media feed today pictured one of their members setting up, and inviting people along to say hello. ZenCash, with its native cryptocurrency, ZEN, is a tripartite blockchain platform offering Media, Messaging and Money. At the moment only ZenCash and ZenChat are available, but ZenPub is on the way and ZenHide, a vehicle for web traffic, is promised soon.
ZenCash operates through a global network of secure nodes with node to node encryption. Launched on May 30th 2017, there was no premine and no ICO, just an issue of a capped 21 million ZEN tokens. ZEN is ranked #124 in global market cap listings, with an approximate value of $50.
The blockchain industry has grown exponentially, disrupting traditional markets and creating new opportunities for innovation.
