The SEQ Sequence coin was one of the top four coins showing progress on February 7th, rising over 100% to reach #402 in global market cap rankings. Together with its partner coin, DYN, the two altcoins are the operating currency of the Duality Blockchain Solutions project, which, as its name suggests, runs on two different but associated blockchains. 

Duality is a concept working with and for society, deriving solutions from ordinary people for everyday situations. Described as a "community-driven project" that initially formed in 2014, it arrived at its final form in 2017. The company is based in San Antonio, Tx, and states that its main mission is BaaS – Blockchain as a Service.

BaaS helps to transform businesses in existing and newly-emerging markets by making them more efficient, more secure and interoperable. The binary architecture uses the Dynamic (DYN) blockchain in concert with the Sequence (SEQ) blockchain. Together these verify all data and make the network secure, lowering the overheads and making data management less complex.

Distinguishing the two different forms of currency, the company say that DYN is a cryptocurrency token with a stable value, acting as true digital money. SEQ functions as an asset token and is used as a hedge to protect against fluctuations in value.
