DENT has joined the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, according to an announcement made by the team on the 13th of February.
\r\nThe Enterprise Ethereum Alliance was launched last February and is made up of several big names in the gas and oil sector, the financial services industry, and the field of software development. The alliance was launched with the aim of turning Ethereum into an \"enterprise grade\" blockchain.
\r\nBP, the UK-based global oil company, Microsoft, and JP Morgan are some of the companies involved in the project. The group are hoping to develop an Ethereum-based blockchain to help support small and big businesses.
\r\nJeremy Millar, one of the projects cofounders, noted that the aim of the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance was to align the interests of its group members, companies and technology platforms so that they could all work together to utilise the benefits of blockchain technology.
\r\nDentcoin was created by DENT Wireless Limited, with the aim of liberating mobile telecommunications by supporting the universal and unregulated buying, selling and donating of data through the Ethereum blockchain. The DENT network allows its users to communicate across its blockchain and to buy, sell and trade their unused mobile data.
The blockchain industry has grown exponentially, disrupting traditional markets and creating new opportunities for innovation.
