Dimecoin has announced that it will be sponsoring the American soccer team Keene FC. Dimecoin is one of the oldest decentralised coins in existence, having launched on the 23rd of December, 2013.

On the official Dimecoin website, its creators write that Dimecoin was developed \"by the community, for the community\", and that the coin will be used in real-world micro transactions. Dimecoin offers multi-layer encryption and supports transactions of around 10 seconds each. The minds behind the coin state that they are currently working on developing other features that will be made public to the Dimecoin community in time.

Keene FC will be utilising the micro transactions offered through Dimecoin on their website. The team will be linking up with Dimecoin in several ways: they plan to offer a Dimecoin-based wallet on their website, as well as a link to Dimecoin\'s official website and social media sites. In addition, Keene FC\'s site will also accept Dimecoin-based payments.

In a recent statement, Keene FC\'s owners said that they are thrilled to be aligning with a crypto that was on the same path that they were on, and that their shared belief in the value of community helped bring the two companies together.
