The latest in a series of publicity moves from Groestlcoin was announced on February 6th, with a Transaction Speed Test to be conducted against Litecoin. Two days ago the Speed Test was mooted amongst social media supporters, suggesting a test with Groestlcoin\'s GRS coin against any other altcoin of users\' choice. After polling public opinion, Litecoin was picked for the upcoming test. It is to be conducted using Groestlcoin\'s Groestlpay Wallet, \"a secure open source, multisignature wallet platform,\" available for both mobile apps and desktop use.
\r\nThe blockchain-based project offers an open-source application which can be used by an individual or a group of individuals using multiple signatures. The wallets can be used for a family checking account, for example, where each member has access and verification procedures. Alternatively, a joint savings account could be set up between friends or couples, or a business account to service funds between several named parties.
\r\nGRS is ranked #223 in the world according to market cap listings, but the publicity is giving it a boost in recent days. Although some people say that Litecoin is already fast enough, the issue of transaction speeds becomes increasingly important when people are using altcoin wallets to make over-the-counter purchases.
