Ardorgate has announced that it will be reducing its deposit/withdrawal fee from 10 Euros to 5 Euros until the 31st March 2018. The Ardorgate service is part of the Ardor blockchain platform. Users who have a Mistertango account can transfer and convert AEUR tokens for Euros before cashing them out. The AEUR token is pegged to the Euro, so 1 AEUR will always hold the same value as 1 EURO.
\r\nThe response from users was largely positive, with may saying that the 10 Euro fee was too high for smaller deposits and that this was acting as a barrier to new users entering the Ardor ecosystem.
\r\nArdor makes use of a parent-child architecture which allows businesses to create their own blockchain products and services using child chains. The products and services created by users benefit from the security offered by the Ardor parent chain.
\r\nArdor was launched at the beginning of 2018, so it is still far too early to know if it will be a success. However, the platform has received a lot of favourable attention which has resulted in the value of the native Ardor token increasing. The team behind the project will be hoping that the reduced fees will help to increase interest in Ardor.
