VeChain has revealed that Michigan State University is the first VeResearch member. What\'s more, it has also been confirmed that the state of Michigan has already been involved in the development of EdgeChain.
\r\nIn a press release from 30th January, a spokesperson for VeChain commented that after releasing their Global Innovative Research Grant Program, they are proud to announce the new collaboration.
\r\nVeChain is a platform that utilises Blockchain technology to aid and support supply chain management processes. The company stated that they were hopeful for the partnership and believed it would be a powerful driver which will help to create innovations using developments in Mobile Edge Computing, a technology that will improve the way smartphones work. VeChain also confirmed that Mobile Edge Computing is a massive leap towards a smart-world.
\r\nVeChain stated they were happy to be working with the University because Michigan State has previously offered fantastic results and data during previous tests. The press release also said that VeChain felt the use of EdgeChain would be a fantastic addition. The company concluded by saying that VeChain would maintain its efforts to support and aid people, collaborations, partnerships and technology for business ecosystems.
