Online and mobile gaming is a booming industry, which has over 2 billion users from around the globe and is now valued at over $100 billion. However, the industry has struggled to integrate rewards into their games using traditional currencies.

RewardMob, a company which offers gamers free-to-play tournaments will partner with the Waves Platform so they can use Blockchain technology in order to provide their players with rewards and to implement pay-to-play tournaments.

RewardMob will use the Waves Platform to power their RMOB token. The company has trailed the RMOB by creating 7,500 wallets for players and issuing 1.5 million RMOB tokens. The first pay-to-play tournament ticket sale is due to take place on 27th February, when a select number of users will be eligible for pre-purchase entry. 

RMOB will be based on the Waves coin. The Waves Platform allows users to create tokens without going through intensive cryptocurrency coding. This will enable companies and organisations to quickly launch their own cryptocurrencies for use among their own users and customers. Users can name their token, limit how many will be issued and how many decimal fractions they wish to use.
