The annual World Government Summit in Dubai is running from February 11th-13th, and the President of the NEM Foundation, Mr Lon Wong, says he has been \"privileged\" to have been invited to attend. NEM is the world\'s tenth largest cryptocurrency by market capitalisation. Mr Wong joins an array of global participants from financial institutions, universities, tech firms and journalists, to list but a few. Founding members of institutes for wellness and happiness are joined by representatives of Facebook, Google Culture and IBM, alongside some astronauts and astrophysicists.
\r\nThere is strong representation from biotech and AI companies, as well as from peace organisations and government representatives. Michio Kaku, a theoretical physicist and futurist at New York\'s City College, will rub shoulders with the President of the World Bank, Jim Yong Kim, and Christine Lagarde, Managing Director of the IMF. Also present will be (for whatever reason) Robert de Niro and Deepak Chopra, Goldie Hawn (as the founder of a humanitarian organisation) and Forest Whitaker (as the head of a UNESCO peace initiative).
\r\nThe Summit is an annual event in Dubai, with a focus on presenting and harnessing new technology and innovation, to help governments around the world to solve the universal challenges faced by humanity. Financiers, futurists and experts from all realms of achievement analyse future trends and opportunities, examining new practices and products to tackle these challenges creatively.
