Blockchain AI company, Deep Brain Chain, announced on February 1st that they would be presenting at the day\'s Decentralized AI Summit in San Francisco. The presentation will take place at 1330 Pacific Standard Time (2130 GMT), when DBC will be in company with internet giants Microsoft, IMB and Google, amongst others. DBC made a presentation on 31st January at the SF NEO DevCon.
\r\nUsing blockchain technology, DBC developed a low-cost, decentralised and private neural network computing platform. They use smart contracts based on NEO to mine nodes, which are incentivised with a native token, the DeepBrain Coin (DBC). The vast quantity of global mining nodes supply constantly increasing computational power. This enables the Artificial Intelligence to meet the demands of world-wide business enterprise and data trading, and to reduce the operating costs by up to 70%.
\r\nIn their $15m December ICO, DBC allocated $6m of its funds to venture capital, including NEO, and has a strong basis for a realistic project. The project was awarded the first prize in the Enterprise Sector for AI Research, out of 30 teams, and intends to establish a laboratory in Shanghai with the Chinese Academy of Sciences. These two groups will collaborate on core technologies including blockchain, question-and-answer systems, natural language understanding and multi-round dialogue management.
