With Blockchain technology, every transaction is immutably and transparently recorded on a block of data, including whether or not you agree to have sex. Women in France apparently disagree that men should be prevented from harassing women, but in Sweden, a bill has been presented calling for explicit consent to be registered before entering into any sexual relations.

\r\n

A Dutch digital contract company has also launched an app which will \"verify explicit consent before having sex.\" Arnold Daniels, co-founder of LegalFling, says the idea is meant as a less iron-clad alternative to the Swedish law, which proposes to classify as rape any sexual act that takes place without explicitly worded or clearly demonstrated consent.

\r\n

LegalFling\'s app addresses the grey areas between what sexual partners will or will not allow, without needing a law to enforce it. Users have several categories where they can state specific preferences, including permitting photographs, requiring STD tests and using condoms. They then message potential partners with a Fling Request and the partner will theoretically agree to those stipulations if s/he accepts the request. There will be a digital record on the blockchain of both the Request and its acceptance.

While it isn\'t legally binding, the blockchain\'s technology does eliminate uncertainty about whether a person has consented to have sex.
