The Tap Project, a new tech startup, have unveiled plans to create a new cryptocurrency, dubbed Tap Coin, that gamers can rake in as they play. The new game has arisen from a crowdfunding campaign set up by the TapProject last December.

According to the Tap Project blog at Medium, the tech company announced that they are partnering with the Bangalore-based game studio Juego Studios. Juego Studios is a big name in the gaming field, having already worked on a number of projects with Warner Brothers, Disney and Artix Entertainment.

The game is the first of its kind, allowing gamers to convert game currency into crypto using the Tap Platform.  The Tap Project will allow gamers to take the money they earn as they play, and turn it into cryptocurrency that can be exchanged and traded. Gamers will also be able to transfer the crypto they make to other games they play, allowing for greater freedom.

Haniff Knight, who co-founded the Tap Project, was enthusiastic about the new partnership and the creation of the game, stating that it would be the start of Tap Coin's integration into the gaming world. Knight said that theuse of Blockchain technology would help spark an exciting disruption within the gaming industry.
