SpringRole, an online reputation network which uses blockchain technology, has welcomed Alex Waters, the head of ELM Labs, as an advisor. In a statement, the CEO of the organisation, Kartik Mandaville, wrote that he was delighted to have Waters on his team. He believes that his extensive knowledge of Bitcoin and Blockchain technology will push SpringRole forward, and will help it to develop better products.

Alex Waters has been involved in Bitcoin and Blockchain technology for many years and is known to have a sound understanding of how private companies can use crypto ecosystems. He initially started work on the open source Bitcoin core development project before going on to hold management positions with tech companies such as itBit, Project PAI and BitInstant. Waters was also CEO of the bitcoin payment processing company Coin.co.

The announcement from SpringRole went on to say that Waters will manage and advise on the day-to-day operations of the company. He will also continue to act as an advisor to other businesses as well as working as a journalist, specialising in writing about the current cryptocurrency landscape. Waters says that he is committed to designing and building technology which will have a positive impact around the world.
