Coinbase, a popular crypto startup, have welcomed ex-Twitter executive Tina Bhatnagar to the company role of vice president of operations and technology. Bhatnagar has been tasked with revamping the businesses\' customer support services.
\r\nBhatnagar previously worked as the VP of operations and user services at Twitter. She will be leading teams at Coinbase, as well as customer service teams at its sister company GDAX.
\r\nIn her recent statement, Bhatnagar said that both the business and cryptocurrency generally were currently incredibly popular, more so than at any time in the past. She said that the excitement surrounding the various elements of the crypto sector made it \"an exciting time\", stating that as such, it was highly important that the business maintained their stake – something that she felt that they could only do if they took great care of their customers.
\r\nDue to increased demand, Coinbase experienced some site issues last week after an influx in traffic. The company CEO, Brian Armstrong, branded the issues experienced by some users as \"minor hiccups\", pointing out that the site stayed online despite the high levels of traffic. The appointment of Bhatnagar suggests a renewed interest in, and dedication to the company\'s customer services.
