Concerned Cardano chief, Charles Hoskinson, has put out a call for increased traffic on the network, and particularly for publicity and internet search tags. He spotted a notice that was posted on the cryptocurrency's Wikipedia page, saying that Cardano was targeted for deletion, as it is of "low importance."
The Cardano founder argues that this should be vigorously refuted in the media, posting that he is to put together a "task force." This will gather together all media reports, publicly released information and web links relating to Cardano, so that the community can improve the Wiki entry's quality and ensure it doesn't get deleted.
The project was launched on September 29th 2017, by a Hong Kong Blockchain development company, and led by Hoskinson, a former co-founder of the Ethereum network. The network is supported by an official cryptocurrency wallet called Daedalus.
Cardano is classed by Wikipedia as a third generation cryptocurrency, even though they concede that it is in the top ten rated altcoins. Since market ratings list their ADA coin at #5 in world rankings, this premature dismissal of Cardano seems rather harsh. Cardano has a total market cap of $16,381,578,759.00, with a value on 29th January of $0.63 per ADA token. There are 25,927,070,538.00 ADA in circulating supply, with a 24-hour trading volume of $264,631,000.00.
Zloadr is launching a new token exchange powered by its audience.
