Litecoin is going from strength to strength, as it adds more payments processing capacity to its portfolio. With the launch of LitePay expected this week, another new option has also been announced called LitePal.
\r\nA February 3rd tweeted statement said that LitePal envisioned a world-wide adoption of cryptocurrency, with Litecoin being used globally by merchants in a single streamlined process, It would be much less confusing and simpler than current multiple systems. They anticipate incorporating Bitcoin as well as LTC, together with existing global payment processors such as Western Union and PayPal.
\r\nLitePay themselves, who are collaborating with VISA to provide retail and ATM access to LTC users, tweeted a congratulatory announcement about the new Litecoin-first system, with a shout-out to Charlie Lee: \"Thank you @SatoshiLite for creating the LTC we all love!\"
\r\nLitePal\'s official blog site is so far uncommunicative, being set up only on February 4th, and their social media sites are still under construction while the infrastructure is completed. Lee himself tweeted back congratulations to the set-up announcement, saying that it was \"going to get a lot easier for merchants to accept LTC\" with the launch of another new payments processor. Other systems already accepting Litecoin include CoinPaymentsNet, GoCoin and AliantPayment.
