It seems as if South Korea is not the only country looking into allegations of bribery surrounding Bitcoin. Despite all the great things the cryptocurrency has to offer, there also seems to be a certain amount of controversy surrounding it, and more than one country is looking into the effects of using virtual currency to try and guess what its role will be in the future.

Will it destabilise economies? There are many who say it won\'t. A report says that a crackdown has also begun on cryptocurrency on the Indonesian archipelago island of Bali, and investigations through social media by the Central Bank have discovered the island has become a harbour for Bitcoin transactions. Now of course, the bank wants it banned.

It has been actively seeking a crackdown on cryptocurrency anywhere on the island, and it is believed a rule that says all Indonesian transactions must be conducted in the national currency, the rupiah, will be enforced by the Directorate of Special Crime Investigation unit.

Whether this will sort the problem out is anyone\'s guess; investors can certainly try and look for a back way in. It has also been suggested the government are trying to stop the use of digital currency because of fears about money laundering and criminal activity. Their stance is seen as tough, like the Chinese and the South Koreans.
