The NEM community is growing rapidly, with a new Meetup just announced in Córdoba, Argentina. On Saturday, February 18th, up to 54 NEM enthusiasts will get together from 1000 till 1200 (GMT -3) to meet and share NEM information.

The Córdoba Meetup will be preceded on February 15th by one in Bogotá, Colombia (from 1830-2000, GMT -5), which forms the official launch of NEM Latin America (NEM LATAM). After Argentina, the NEM roadshow will move to Caracas, Venezuela, with 60 members expected for another morning meeting on February 22nd, from 1000-1200 (GMT -4).

The programme includes a general breakdown of the NEM project, voting and administrative procedures. Two hosts will give an overview of public and private blockchain for business, and discuss various aspects of the technology, including mining, creating goods and domains, multi-signature accounts and more. After the formal speeches there will be networking amongst members.

All this goes to show how much NEM cares about its community – the NEM Foundation has 81 Meetup groups worldwide and more are being added every day. Each LATAM meeting will be co-hosted by Pedro Eligio Gutierrez Q, who has been involved in Start-Up Founder 101 Meetups since 2013, and is co-organiser of NEM LATAM.
