Short Description / Article Intro

The blockchain digital identity foundation, Selfkey, has announced plans to integrate the Kyber Network, the decentralised trading exchange platform, into its digital currency wallets.

The move will allow users to trade with a wide range of ERC20 tokens through the application, including the buying and selling of KNC, KEY and other Ethereum-based tokens. The news comes just days after KyberNetwork launched a decentralised exchange platform through Ethereum Mainnet.

The SelfKey collaboration is due as SelfKey plans to launch a digital identity wallet that will store ID documents and attributes, with in-built support for ETH-based digital tokens. The additional service is thought to increase user efficiencies, allowing users to create an ID and share it across service providers within the SelfKey marketplace, such as bank accounts, company incorporations, ICOs and exchange accounts.

The addition of the exchange platform which the Kyber Network provides SelfKey allows it to expand its goals to include digital currency trading from its wallet. Users will be able to send, store and receive tokens through the new Kyber infrastructure, in-built with the SelfKey wallet. Integration and collaboration is always the key to the successful development of any company and industry. The cryptocurrency sphere is full of ideas and invigorating collaborations, such as this example between SelfKey and Kyber.
