The Waves Platform has announced that it will be working with Tokenomy to help local corporations to tokenise their business models.

Sasha Ivanov, Waves CEO, explained their drive behind partnering with the company, noting that blockchain tokens could be used for a number of things, such as sharing sensitive data, as a frictionless way to undertake financial transactions. Ivanov also stressed that its uses extended far beyond those enabled by crowdfunding and online payments.

Tokenomy has recently finished its crowd sale, during which it sold 40,000 tokens  for more than $2 million . Following on from this success, Tokenomy\'s CEO, Oscar Darmawan, has explored the company\'s motivation behind securing the new partnership between the businesses.

Darmawan stated that he appreciated the simplicity of the Waves Platform and the way in which it enabled people to undertake speedy transactions and to generate secure tokens. He also hoped to make use of the smart contracts that Waves would soon make available on their platform. He added that he felt that the partnership would enable Tokenomy to support their clients in token creation \"in the best way possible\".

Darmawan also highlighted that there was an overlap between the token-launching and exchange business and that both could be beneficial to each other by bringing new users to each area.
