For those who missed out on the Bitcoin bonanza, an opportunity is being offered to win big on a BTC lottery. Irish lotto operator, Lottoland, is offering draws in BTC to entrants everywhere who are willing to take a chance.
\r\nDraws will take place every day except Sunday, at 8:30pm GMT. To win the estimated US$18m jackpot, entrants will have to match all of the six numbers, for which the odds are correspondingly low, although there are also lesser payouts and one bet in seven will win some kind of prize. The existing jackpot is over 1,000 BTC, but the redemption value will fluctuate according to the markets, and winners will select to have their prizes either in fiat currency or as cryptocurrency sent to a bitcoin wallet.
\r\nLottoland is one of the best-known lottery operators in Ireland, which in the past has controversially allowed people to bet on lotteries outside the country, including the European Mega Millions and America\'s Powerball. Clever marketing has helped the company to combat such controversies, however, and allowed them to acquire a substantial market share in Ireland.
\r\nThis cryptocurrency lotto launch sees Lottoland jumping on the digital currency bandwagon that\'s careering across the markets at the back end of 2017. Leading the market is Bitcoin, whose value topped out at over $20,000 during the week commencing December 20th before a subsequent decline.
Zloadr is launching a new token exchange powered by its audience.
